Laboratory Assistant - Mill Operations

Dharma Satya Nusantara is a leading company in the pulp and paper industry, with a strong commitment to quality and sustainability. We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Laboratory Assistant to support our mill operations in Kalimantan Barat. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes, while also contributing to our ongoing efforts to reduce environmental impact.

As a Laboratory Assistant in our Mill Operations, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and analyses to monitor and control the quality of our products. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will also be involved in the development and implementation of new quality control procedures and methodologies.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Conducting routine and special laboratory tests and analyses, including pH, viscosity, and pulp quality tests.
• Monitoring and recording test results, and ensuring compliance with quality control procedures.
• Assisting in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment, including spectrophotometers, viscometers, and other analytical instruments.
• Preparing and maintaining laboratory records and reports, and ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
• Participating in the development and implementation of new quality control procedures and methodologies.
• Collaborating with the production team to ensure that products meet quality and safety standards.
• Contributing to the ongoing efforts to reduce environmental impact, through the development and implementation of sustainable practices.
• Providing technical support and advice to other team members, as needed.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the pulp and paper industry.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment, including spectrophotometers, viscometers, and other analytical instruments.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and methodologies, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, and to meet tight deadlines.
• Commitment to the company's values and culture, and a willingness to contribute to the ongoing efforts to reduce environmental impact.
